Disney Land

I saw the snow blowing around when I looked outside my bedroom window. I did NOT want to go outside but, today was going to be a miracle. I made my bed up and went downstairs to the kitchen. "Good morning," I said yawning.

"Hi Aria," my mom had just flipped a pancake, "So, are you ready to go?

"Go where?"

"Disney Land!” My mother had put the pancakes on my plate.

"Where's Dyson?" Dyson is my younger brother.

"Right over here. Morning Aria!"

Dyson was lying down on the couch so that I couldn't see him. I soon spotted my baby brother, Payce. He was about a foot, maybe even less, from the TV. I took one look at their clothes; they were still in their pajamas.

"We'll be leaving in about 20 minutes. You should get your clothes on. I'll get Payce," she walked over, got Payce and took him to his room.

I went to my beautiful room and got my clothes on. I wore pants because I didn't want to be cold while we were still in Michigan. My hair was braided at the time so I pulled it to the side. I looked in my mirror and saw myself. I went down the wooden steps and went to Payce's room. It had been painted yellow and his banner had little monkeys on it. --My mom pulled his red polo on over his head and stood him on the floor.

"Boo!" I turned around

"Nice try, Dyson" Dyson giggled a little. My mom came out of Payce's room, we were ready to go. Ding dong!  My mom and Payce rushed to the door.

"Hey!" My mom waved. She opened the door for them as they stepped in. Dyson and I got our bags from upstairs in our rooms. I had my duffel bag and my other bag ready to go. Dyson had a Mario bag while my mom and Payce had two blue bags. We got in the car. It was black and big! We rented a car with seven seats because our normal car only had five. We loaded up the trunk and got all the snacks for the ride. It was going to take us about two days to get there but, I was going to enjoy ALL of it!

We all got settled in the car. After all, we were going to be stuck in that death trap for hours!

We soon started driving off our drive way. I was going to miss our house. Well, for the week we'd be gone.

Day 1

It was slightly cloudy as we drove by all of the snow.  We had a mini-TV in the car. It was probably as small as an iPad mini... Maybe even smaller! The three movies we brought were Shrek, Astro Boy and The Letter Factory. The Letter Factory was for Payce and Shrek and Astro Boy were for us. My mom, my grandma and grandpa were just talking away!

We had been driving for hours now but it felt like forever! I remembered my bag had stuff in it! I grabbed my pink bag, unzipped it and took out my book. Not like a reading book, but a sketch book. Dyson was on our moms computer, playing Mine-craft while Payce was sleeping, like a little angle! I started doodling cupcakes and sweets.

 It was now noon. It did not seem that we were driving for maybe 11 or 12 hours. I asked Dyson if I could go on the computer (wouldn't you?) and at first he said a simple, "no"

I had to ask him over and over to get him to finally hand over that thing! So, I finally got to go on. I was wondering what to do but then, it hit me. I knew what I could do! First, I got a picture of a cartoon tiger. Then I traced it. I really liked it but, it took a very long time!

We suddenly stopped at a gas station.

“Mom,” I asked, “why are we stopping?”

“Dyson needs to use the bathroom” she replied, “we all should try too so when we get back on the road, we won’t need any stops for now,”

So the first people to get out were Dyson, Papi and Mimi (That’s what we call our grandparents). When they got back, my mom and I got out and inside the gas station. Payce was asleep so, we didn’t have to worry about bringing him in. That would’ve been hard! Anyway, after we took a pit stop, we got back on the road. Time goes by when you’re having fun. Right? Well, not for this car! I was so bored.

It was now like maybe 10:15 we were now in Tennessee driving into Georgia. It was very late so we stopped at a hotel. Dyson and Papi slept in the living room while I my mom and Mimi slept in the actual (and bigger) room.

Day 2

Shhhhhhhhh. The shower was running. I slowly got up. My mom was putting her hair up as My grandmother was taking a shower.

“Hey Mom…,” I said almost falling back asleep.

“Good mornin’ Aria. How’d you sleep?”

“Great…well, I’m trying to keep myself from falling over. Other than that, I’m fine,”

“Okay. But, get your clothes on for hot weather!” I didn’t know what she meant by that but I did as we soon stepped outside.

“It’s soooo HOT!” my brother moaned as we walked out of the hotel and into the car.

Turning 10!

Turning 10!
I woke up. Today was a wonderful day. It was my birthday and I was extremely exited! After school, I was having a party. Not just any party... A sleepover!
When I got to school, I brought the treats in for my class and put them at the center table. When it was the end of the day, I picked 3 people to help me. Sarah, Anna & Mia. Mia was doing the hand sanitizer, Anna was passing out the napkins and Sarah was helping me pass out the brownies. After I was done passing them out, everyone LOVED them!
After that, I went home and helped set up the food, games and the other awesome things we were going to do. Ding! Dong! Some one was at our door. The first person to come was Anna. She came in and hugged me. The doorbell rang again. Anna and i rushed to the door in excitement. The next person to come was Shannon. A few minutes after Shannon came in there was some one else, it was Jenny! We already had 3 people! Ding dong! There was Abby and I saw Sarah's car pulling up. Ding dong!The last person to come was Amelia. I was so exited that they all came!
I escorted them to my room as they all set their stuff down.
 I had my baby brother, Payce's alphabet rug in my room because we couldn't put it in his room for now. Dyson (my 8 year old brother) came in. He got really annoying so we all took a letter from the alphabet and hit him with it. When we were done, he had an O around his head and an F around his foot. Dyson wasn't staying for my party (thank GOD!) After that, the first thing we did was go to the bathroom to wash our hands. Then we all got the dough. We were making pizza! You could put almost anything on it too! First you take a rolling pin and roll it out. Then you choose your shape. I did a circle but others did hearts and even squares. Then after you made your shape, you would put it on the tray with tin foil on top and wait for it to cook. While you waited, you could play Just Dance 4 or twister. I chose Just Dance because I love it. After I BEAT everyone, I mean played, I played twister. Twister was really fun and funny because when one person collapsed, three others would too! And then we would all crack up! After we did that, we went into the dining room and painted each other's nails. It was funny because someone messed up on Amelia's nail and it said:

Everyone was laughing... Even Amelia! My nails had cheetah print on them in the end. To go along with the nail saloon, we had (washable) tattoos. We could make them blue, green, purple... Almost any color! And the best part was.......... They were ALL in sparkles!!!! After we finished our nails and tattoos, we ate our pizza. It was DELICIOUS! Some of us finished our pizza so we watched a movie.The movie we were watching was Up. It's a pretty good movie but, it can get pretty boring.
After about 20 minutes, all of us were done with our pizza so we all went to look at what Amelia was doing on her iPad. She was watching My Little Pony. We all got addicted to MLP sooner or later.
After we watched Amelia's iPad, we went to have some cake! They all sang happy birthday to me as my mom lit the candles. The first time I tried, none blew out. The second time, 1 or 2 blew out. The THIRD time, every one helped me blow them all out. We all ate the cake, it was DELICIOUS. And the best part is, my mom and I made it. It was fun making the cake, and everyone LOVED it!
The next thing we did was fall asleep. We'll, most of us fell asleep but, some were like night owls! The rest of us watched tv because TV shows go on FOREVER! I like that. Sooner or later, more of a sooner, we fell fast asleep. Some of us.  In the living room on chairs and such, and some of us in the family room. Fortunately, no one was in my room.
Morning was here alas! Abby had to go early because she had dance class. ;*-(
We all woke up. I was the last one to wake up because I am a VERY deep sleeper. After I woke up, my mom helped us make pancakes! They were sooooo good! My mom is SUCH A GOOD COOK! My mistake, she's awesome! After we ate breakfast a few other people left. I was sad. The last two people were Amelia & Shannon.-
 We all went to watch tv. After we watched a show, Amelia had to go. We said bye and she left.
Then, Shannon and I decided to go to my room. It was clean because I had cleaned it before the party. We drew crazy people with crazy outfits, and it was fun! Sadly, she had to go. I was going to miss her. We said goodbye and then she left. It was fun having the
BEST PARTY EVA!But, I was sad that it was over.
