Payce

I was only in 4th grade. My day was going normal. My mom was pregnant with my brother, Payce. If it was a girl, her name would be Polly. Our mom told us that it would be a boy when she found out that she was pregnant. We were so happy for her! Now we went to school. Dyson stayed home, he wasn't feeling well. When I came off the bus, I started to walk home. I heard calls....,"Aria!" Dyson? No, how could it be Dyson? I turned around. There he was with my grandpa. I ran to the car and got in as quickly as possible. 

"So, how come you're picking us up?" I was curious to know.

"You'll see soon enough," our grandfather replied. 

He drove us for what seemed like forever but eventually, we got to or destination. Our destination was the hospital. We went inside and waited outside a room for a little while. 

The nurse finally let us in the room. Inside the room was our mom. She had covers up to her stomach and was breathing a little more than necessary. 

Play call backs

Today we're the call backs for the play auditions. It was really more of a everyone come back and do it over again scenario. It was fun. We got to sing a lot and read the script. I can't wait until the play. We will have to perform 3 times! Oh well. It will be fun!

Play audition!

Today, I auditioned for the play. Our school has a play every year grades 6-8. This years play theme is dr.seuses, Horton hears a who! I really like that movie! I also like the song that I sang at the tryouts. I sang Mayzie's part: 

I think I did a good job. I was in a room with Grace, Elice, Paul and Claire. Paul and Claire are I. 8th and Grace and Elice are I. 6th with me. 

Small moment

The cool air shocked me as I walked outside. We all got in the line. I was third in line. Amelia was first, Jordyn was second and Vivian and Megan were behind me. 

"Ready?" Megan said.

"I think so," Amelia put the blindfold on and grasped the bat. 

"Go!" We all yelled. You get three swings and then you get back in line. Amelia chipped the end.

"Jordyn's turn!" I yelled, louder than needed. Swish! She hit the air. 

"Strike one!" Vivian yelled.

"Shut up!" Jordyn yelled. We all knew she didn't mean it. Boom! She hit the end. 

"One piece of candy! Strike two!" Megan yelled. A piece of candy came out. Swish! She hit the air.

"Strike Three!" I yelled. She grabbed a piece of candy.

Swish! I missed. I grabbed the bat and hit the piñata as hard as I could. Candy sprayed out as we all rushed to get good candy. I got a full bag of candy and rushed inside.

More than one month later, it was my birthday. I came in with homemade cookies. It was a blast! I brought them for my class. Everyone wanted more. It was very annoying. But I had a great birthday. 

Weeks later, it was Christmas. We got presents and it was great. I remember when I was very little and we went to Maryland to visit my dad for Christmas. He usually visits us but it was a holiday so we went to him. Later in that month, it was a minute before the new year, 2014. 5....I could hear the numbers....4! It is loud.....3! 2! Only one second left. My heart was racing a million miles per second. One.

Mrs Roberts was really ticked off at some people today. My day was okay. But hers was probably not. Some people messed around with the Mac book cart. At least, that's what I heard. Now no one can use them because someone messed with it. Great. Also we can't use the I pads. That sucks. :P
